Substitution Policy
At Aspen Tower Florist, we strive to create arrangements that closely reflect the photographs shown on our website. However, flowers are a seasonal and agricultural product, and availability may vary due to weather, growing conditions, holidays, shipping delays, and market availability.
When substitutions are necessary, our designers will preserve the overall style, color palette, theme, and value of the arrangement. Any substituted flowers, containers, or design elements will be of equal or greater value than those originally shown.
For arrangements featuring a specific flower variety, substitutions may occasionally be required if that flower is unavailable or does not meet our quality standards at the time of design. In these cases, we will select the closest appropriate substitute while maintaining the overall look and feel of the design.
Many of the arrangements and sympathy tributes featured on our website are photographs of actual custom work created by Aspen Tower Florist. Because each arrangement is individually designed by hand and flowers are natural products, no two arrangements will be exactly alike.
If a particular flower, color, container, keepsake item, or design element is especially important to your order, please note it during checkout or contact us before placing your order so we can verify availability.
Our goal is always to deliver a beautiful, fresh, professionally designed arrangement that honors the spirit and intention of the design you selected.
Delivery Policy
SPECIAL DELIVERY RATES
Aspen Tower Florist offers a special $5 delivery rate for deliveries to patients and residents at our local hospital, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and funeral homes within our local Greensburg delivery area only.
This discounted rate applies only to deliveries intended for patients, residents, families, or services at these facilities.
Standard delivery rates apply to employees, staff members, physicians, offices, businesses, and other workplace deliveries located within these facilities.
Additional delivery fees may apply outside these locations or outside our standard delivery area.
DELIVERY TIMES
While we make every effort to accommodate requested delivery timeframes, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times unless special arrangements have been made in advance and confirmed by our staff.
Funeral services, visitations, memorial services, weddings, and special events are prioritized and scheduled according to the service or event time whenever possible.
During major floral holidays, severe weather, or periods of unusually high order volume, delivery times may be adjusted as necessary.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information at the time an order is placed.
This includes:
• Recipient’s full name • Complete delivery address • Apartment, suite, room, building, or unit numbers when applicable • Recipient’s phone number • Business, hospital, nursing home, funeral home, church, school, cemetery, or venue name when applicable
Aspen Tower Florist is not responsible for delays resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or missing delivery information. Additional delivery charges may apply if a second delivery attempt, address correction, or special trip is required.
WEDDINGS & SPECIAL EVENTS
Wedding and event deliveries require accurate venue information, setup instructions, contact information, and event timelines.
Customers are responsible for providing:
• Venue name and address • Event date and setup time • Contact person’s name • Day-of contact phone number • Any venue-specific delivery instructions
Failure to provide accurate information may result in delivery delays beyond our control.
One thing I’d add somewhere in the policy:
Aspen Tower Florist does not routinely contact recipients prior to delivery unless necessary to complete the delivery. This helps preserve surprise gifts and special occasions whenever possible.
Refund Policy
ASPEN TOWER FLORIST – RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Aspen Tower Florist, we take great pride in the quality of our flowers, plants, gifts, and customer service. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make it right.
Fresh Flower Arrangements
Fresh flowers are a natural product and may vary in lifespan depending on flower variety, care, temperature, and environmental conditions.
If you are dissatisfied with the quality of a fresh flower arrangement, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery or pickup. We may request photographs of the arrangement to help evaluate the issue.
At our discretion, we may:
Replace the arrangement
Provide store credit
Offer a partial or full refund
Refunds or replacements will not be issued for flowers that have been neglected, damaged after delivery, exposed to extreme temperatures, or improperly cared for.
Funeral & Sympathy Orders
Due to the time-sensitive nature of funeral and memorial services, all concerns regarding sympathy arrangements must be reported within 24 hours of service or delivery.
If an error was made on our part, we will work promptly to provide an appropriate resolution.
Plants
Live plants are guaranteed to be healthy and in good condition when delivered or picked up.
Concerns regarding plant quality must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Because plant care varies after delivery, refunds cannot be provided for plants that decline due to improper watering, lighting, temperature, or care.
Silk Arrangements, Keepsakes & Gifts
Silk arrangements, lanterns, wind chimes, throws, angels, memorial gifts, and other non-perishable merchandise may be returned within 7 days of purchase if unused and in original condition.
Custom-made silk designs, personalized items, and special-order merchandise are non-refundable.
Wedding & Event Orders
Deposits for weddings, events, and custom installations are non-refundable once materials have been ordered.
Any cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility will depend upon materials purchased, labor completed, and proximity to the event date.
Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are non-refundable once delivery has been attempted or completed.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled for a full refund if the design process has not begun and flowers or supplies have not been ordered specifically for that order.
Substitutions
Flower availability may vary due to seasonality, weather, and market conditions. Aspen Tower Florist reserves the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value while maintaining the overall style, color palette, and feel of the arrangement.
